On Monday 25, January 2016.I learned about "Narrative;Secrets by Tim Winton-part two." to continue last week. When the class began, the teacher told us to read the story of Secrets' part two and did the exercise because she had a meeting and told us that she would go back after 1 hour. She came back and answered the exercise. And then, we ordered to produce a summary of the second part of the story that " Kylie watches the hen sitting on ten eggs.She takes the lid off the well. She started to go down the well with her photo album every day. She watches philip and her mother and wonders why her father is not with them. I feel sorry for Kylie because she wasn't taken care of her mother. I disapprove of Kylie's mother because why? She didn't take about Philip's relationship with her.The story was easy because the story progressed from part one therefore It made us easily for undetstanding. I used how to find text organization and language features in reading the text.

"Narrative" Continue

" Narratives "
On Monday 18 January 2016, I lesson about
" Narratives ". The teacher described about Narratives and I did
activities " Secrets ". I answered questions in circle and tether
line between the answer. The shape each friends it had different because the
answers had different. Second, activities I read the text in part one. The
story was about " Kylie's secret." When I read the text I can summary
with friends and I went in front the class for writing the main idea of the
text. I think this lesson is difficult to study for me because when I
studied I can not understand meaning and write the summary this text. When I
read the text, I used skimming and scanning in reading. And sometimes I
used my mobile for helping found vocabularies in dictionary online. In the
class I talked to my friends about the text for finding the answers and write
the summaries.

" Recount " (continue)
On Monday 11 January
2016, I leaned about ''Recount '' to continued. When the class began, the
teacher answered the exercises (Read the text and answer the questions that
follow) from last week. After that, she gave us the handouts. The papers of
sheet are about ''Factual Recount : New Report'' she taught us to analysis
the news text. The taken text for example was five Vietnamese held for
stealing. Then she answered the questions of this. she gained us to read the
police report and do the following exercise. The text was about ''Investigation
report'' I did find difficult about the text and answer.When I read the text, l
used skimming and scanning from English reading strategies course and finding
text organization and language features in reading the text. Finally ,I my
attitude this lesson is very benefit for interpreting and comprehension other
stories. It can use in reading for daily life as reading the news paper in
English version.

" Recount "
On Monday 4 January
2014, Today I learned about " Recount " Today is the first of the
Discourse Approach in Reading class for this the second semester. The teacher
gave hand out and course outline to the students. After that she explained
about this course. Then she gave to find the words eg. When , Who, What ,
where, action verbs / past tense , linking words to do with time and specific
participalsts in the text furious pace in Hochey Finals. and to do
exercise 1 Analyse the text. Already read the text and answer the questions
that follow in exercise 2 " My Grandpa's funeral in Toraja " and try
to understand. Just the teacher gave a a corrective feedback to us.I found
difficult words and phrases. when I had a problem, I will try to guess that
words but I can't. I will solve the problems are dictionary book, search for
information on the internet and line dictionary on my smart phone etc. This class, I’m a little serious but happy. Thank you for reading.
